10 million supported by church-based social transformation

A new report by Church Urban Fund and the independent researchers, Theos, shows the commitment and impact of local churches to their neighbourhoods.

10 million people are supported by church-based social transformation – 20% of the adult population. The report shows that churches are providing services in a way that also offers personal support that builds relations and strengthens communities; real neighbourliness.

Churches, in areas of real deprivation, whether city or rural, are often the only agency on the ground ready to reach out to those on the margins.
