On Monday 12th October London’s CEOs and leading business figures will be sleeping pitch side at The Kia Oval. Will you join them?
By giving up your bed for one night you will help to highlight and tackle issues of poverty affecting thousands of people living in London.
Church Urban Fund support a wide range of projects to help tackle homelessness. This year in London, CUF are supporting an emergency night shelter for the homeless and a project offering advocacy, guidance and advice to help tackle the root causes of the problem.
To help us continue to support more projects like these we are inviting senior level employees from any industry to take part in the CEO Sleepout.

When and where is it?
The Kia Oval Cricket Ground, SE11 – Participants will be sleeping next to the famous pitch!
Monday 12th October 2015, 7.30pm overnight until 7am on Tuesday 13th
£200,000 (Target of £3,000 sponsorship per participant with a minimum commitment of £1,000).
Where does the money go?
Church Urban Fund will receive 70% of the funds raised by our sleepers, with 15% going to both DePaul charity and CEO Sleepout, also working to tackle poverty and homelessness.
Who is taking part?
We welcome managers, CEOs or Directors from any industry to take part in what will be a unique and inspiring event. Last year 100 senior managers from the UK’s largest companies including Accenture, Aviva and Google braved heavy rain and slept outside at Wembley Stadium. 2015 will be the biggest event yet with 200 people taking part!
Executives already signed up for 2015 include:
Mark Adams gave one of his reasons for getting involved "It is shocking in a wealthy country such as ours that so many people still suffer homelessness. All of us have a responsibility to do our part, however small, to end this scandal"
Andy Burns said "The reason why I’m participating in the sleepout with CEO’s and Community Leaders is a desire to raise awareness and finances in order that the Church Urban Fund can continue it’s vital work in London and across the UK. Plus the inner child wants to sleep out in the Oval!!"
