Poverty Sunday Service in Redcar and Cleveland - 22nd June

You are warmly invited to a service on Poverty Sunday, which will bring together Christians from across Redcar and Cleveland to share and pray together about issues of poverty, and how local churches and projects are responding.  The service will take place at 3pm on Sunday June 22nd at Sacred Heart RC School, Mersey Road, Redcar, TS10 1PJ.  Light refreshments will be served afterwards, with an opportunity to visit displays from a variety of local Christian projects

Together Canterbury launch

On Thursday 27th March a service in the Crypt of Canterbury Cathedral launched Together Canterbury, a joint venture between the Diocese of Canterbury and the Church Urban Fund. Together Canterbury is providing long-term sustainable support to Christians working to tackle poverty in some of the most deprived areas of east Kent.
