Cornwall Samaritans at Truro

Location or area:
Truro, Camborne and Newquay

What we do

Samaritans offer a confidential, non judgemental listening service to anyone who is experiencing feelings of distress or despair. We do not offer advice but, by giving time, empathy and human contact, we help people explore their own options to try to find solutions that are right for them.
Types of volunteers needed:
The Truro branch receives over 52,000 contacts a year. Could you help with this important work? We offer full training and travel expenses and you can find out more at our information evenings. As one volunteer said, ‘Samaritans has changed my life and the way I look at others’.
