What we do

The Folkestone Rainbow Centre supports people through times of crisis as well as investing in children’s early years’ development and well being through their Pre Schools and Contact services. The Rainbow Centre, as it has become known locally, works in partnership with Churches Together in Folkestone, which is committed to showing Christian care and compassion in the town. Their vision is to help build a community in which everyone is included and can have the opportunity to live and work in dignity with hope for the future. The Rainbow Centre approach is to help people out of crises so that they can sustain themselves. They are also equally committed to providing a creative and fun environment in which young children can thrive.
Types of volunteers needed:
Today we have over 350 volunteers, without whom the organisation would be unable to offer the range of services dedicated to help the neediest people in our local community. We are always looking to add volunteers to our team.
