What we do

The Salvation Army is part of the mainstream Christian Church. Its ethos is to provide holistic care through the preaching of the Gospel and practical social care – With Heart to God and Hand to Man.
Types of volunteers needed: 
A range of volunteering opportunities are available at the William Booth Memorial Complex: helping with the In-Tone club working with over 18's with physical impairments and/or learning disabilities, Employment Plus helping people get back into work, assistants to help with the food bank. Also fundraising through coffee mornings, table top sales etc and general gardening and grounds maintenance. Please consider helping.
