Organisations Addressing Issues of Poverty in and Around Birmingham 

There is a huge amount of work going on in and around Birmingham to address some of the issues of poverty and to support people to grow and flourish.

There are a number of organisations we support and collaborate with that provide specialist support and ways of getting involved.

The list below is not comprehensive and while these organisations are known to us, they are not part of Thrive Together Birmingham, but are independent charities and organisations.

The list below is simply to make it easier for you to find out about some the specialist work that is going on in and around Birmingham, and to help you get in touch with them if you wish to find out more.

Homelessness:

Sifa Fireside Birmingham: a homeless charity based in Digbeth providing support for homeless people. For more information go to their website: www.sifafireside.co.uk 

St Basils: works across the West Midlands, supporting young people between the ages of 16-25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. For more information go their website: www.stbasils.org.uk
